Frequently asked questions.

What areas do you service?

We currently service the Southern California region. Once we receive your quote request, we will review your pickup and delivery addresses to confirm they fall within our service range.

what types of freight do you handle?

We handle standard palletized freight that is safely shrink-wrapped or securely fastened to a pallet. If you have specialized freight or items that require specific handling, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss how we can accommodate your shipment.

what condition should my pallets be in for pickup?

All pallets, boxes, and items must be in good condition and free from any damage. Everything must be properly secured to prevent damage during transit.

  • Freight must be shrink-wrapped whenever possible.

  • If shrink wrap is not feasible, freight must be strapped or otherwise securely fastened to the pallet.

If the pallet(s), boxes, or item(s) are damaged, poorly secured, or deemed unsafe for transport, we may refuse the shipment. This would be considered an attempted pickup, and charges will apply.

what if my team is not ready when the driver arrives or the freight is not ready for transport?

If your team is not ready or the freight is not prepared for transport when the driver arrives, we will wait within a free grace period at pickup or delivery.

After that free window, detention charges may apply. Charges will be assessed for additional wait time after the grace period. You can discuss when detention will apply directly with us, or refer to our tariff for detailed information on detention.

If the shipment is not ready or unable to be safely picked up or delivered, it may be considered an attempted pickup/delivery, and charges will apply.

what is detention, and when will i be charged?

Detention charges apply when the driver arrives at the pickup or delivery location but is kept waiting beyond the agreed-upon time.

  • We offer a free waiting window (this varies, so please review our tariff or speak with us directly for details).

  • After this free period, detention charges will apply for every additional minute/hour the driver is kept waiting.

  • To avoid detention charges, make sure your team is ready for pickup or delivery within the agreed time frame.

Do you offer liftgate, residential, or inside delivery services?

Yes, we do offer lift gate service. Our drivers are equipped with electric pallet jacks to ensure they can safely and efficiently handle freight without physical strain, making the process smoother for everyone involved.

  • We do deliver to residential locations, but please note that appointments are required for these deliveries. Please note that charges will apply for appointments.

  • Additionally, certain facilities may also require appointments. To know which facilities fall under this category, please refer to our tariff or speak with us directly.

  • We also offer inside delivery, but it is limited. The driver will use the liftgate to offload the freight and then walk it through the facility doors. The service does not include unpacking, installation, or any further movement of the freight beyond the facility entrance. These services - liftgate, residential delivery, and inside delivery - are all subject to additional charges.

Do you offer white glove or specialized handling services?

We do not offer white glove services (e.g., unpacking, installation, or handling of delicate items) beyond the limited inside delivery we just described above.

Do you transport hazardous materials (hazmat)?

We do not transport hazardous materials (HAZMAT) that require placards or special certification.

However, we may accept certain “Limited Quantity” hazardous materials, such as nail polish or cleaning products, as long as they meet DOT guidelines. These shipments must:

  • Be properly labeled and packaged as Limited Quantity

  • Not exceed 1,001 lbs of total hazardous materials per vehicle

  • Not require placards or a hazmat-endorsed driver

If you’re unsure whether your shipment qualifies, reach out to us - we will be happy to review the details and let you know if we can accommodate your shipment.

what happens if my freight is damaged during transport?

We take every precaution to ensure safe transport of your freight. However, if your freight is damaged during transit, please contact us immediately to file a claim. Keep in mind that freight must be securely packaged and properly prepared to avoid damage during transport.
